Betway Kobs look to bounce back against Warriors

Betway Kobs will be looking to get back to winning ways when they take on DusuPay Warriors at Legends on Saturday.

Kobs missed the opportunity to push closer to the league title after a 30-14 loss to Black Pirates last weekend and now have to win their remaining games to stand any chance in the title race.

Team captain Brian Asaba promised better performance in the team's final two games.

Kobs had a poor start in the previous game and failed to put any points on board in the first half as they lost 30-14 to the defending champions.

Warriors had a good start early in the season and Kobs had to dig deep for their 26-03 win in the first round encounter.

A win will keep Kobs' title hopes alive and ensure the winner is decided on the last day of the season.

The Blue Army are now 3 points off the pace following Heathens' bonus point win over Walukuba Barbarians last weekend.

With two games left on the card, the Kyadondo outfit lead the table with 71 points while Kobs are second on the log with 68 points.

Heathens play Rams this weekend before winding up the season with a clash against Warriors at Kyadondo.

After Warriors, Kobs will end their campaign with another Legends derby as they take on Shell Rimula Rhinos.
