Betway Kobs are on the verge of clinching the national Sevens championship.
This is after the side's 28-19 victory over closest challengers Black Pirates in the final of the Jinja Sevens at Dam Waters over the weekend.
The two sides have set the bar for the rest by meeting in each and every final so far with just one left.
Davis Kiwalabye's troops cruised through the group stages and defeated Rhinos and hosts Jinja Hippos in the quarters and semis respectively.
Only Pirates managed to score against the table leaders on the day.
Pirates crossed the whitewash first and converted for an early 7-0 lead but Kobs levelled through Adrian Kasito.
Nobert Okeny, who set up Kasiito for the first try, crossed the white line himself to extend Kobs lead.
Pius Ogena scored Kobs' third try in the final as the Legends outfit took a comfortable 21-07 lead into the halftime break.
Pirates scored the first try of the second half through captain Ivan Magomu who also converted to cut the deficit to 7 points.
Kasito would later go over again for the final punch as Kobs extended their lead at the top of the log.
With just a circuit left, Kobs top the log with 126 points while Pirates are on 120.
Toyota Buffaloes, Hima Cement Heathens and Jinja Hippos are on 85, 84 and 75 to complete the top five.
Finishing third in the last circut, Kitaka Sevens, will be enough for Kobs to clinch the title they lost to Pirates last season.
