Betway Kobs obliterated Warriors 45-06 to keep pressure on Rugby Premier League leaders Hima Cement Heathens.

Kobs have been playing catch up since the start of the season but have enjoyed a good run of form since losing to the defending champions in the first game.

The Legends outfit were  nine points off the pace before their win over Warriors with Heathens having played and defeated Rams in an early kickoff at Kyadondo.

Ian Munyani started the scoring for Kobs after answering the tough questions asked by the Warriors defence. Ivan Kirabo converted for Kobs to lead 7-0 early on.

Fullback Adrian Kasito stretched the lead with a good team try that Kirabo converted. Richard Kinyai responded with a penalty to cut the deficit.

Pius Ogena, Conrad Mukwaya and Ian Munyani all went over the line to seal the bonus point for Kobs before the halftime break.

Joseph Aredo set up Kirabo and the scrum half got a try of his own. Substitute Josiah Sempeke converted to extend the lead.

The Warriors got a penalty to increase their tally to six points  before Keith Sseruyange marked his return to the team with a try.

With seven games played so far, Kobs have garnered 29 points and remain only four behind table leaders Heathens.
