Betway Honour Kimono As Kobs Crush Impis

At 26 years of age, Justin Kimono surely still has a lot left in his legs and he believes he is yet to hit the top in his rugby career. Having made his debut for Betway Kobs as a senior three student in 2007, Kimono marked 100 appearances for the club three weeks ago.

Before Betway Kobs took on Shell Rimula Rhinos, Kimono ran onto the pitch ahead of the of his teammates as a gesture of celebrating the feat. He later crossed the white line after a dash from his own half to secure a bonus point for the table leaders. Before Friday's 92-0 drabbing of Makerere Impis, Kimono was given a guard of honour by his fellow Betway Kobs players, he later received a plaque to celebrate his century of caps.

Having been out of action for two years following a double surgery on his knee, Kimono is yet to regain full fitness.

Kobs pummel Impis

Having lost their first game of the season to Heathens a week ago, Kobs needed to bounce back. The response was perfect as they crushed Impis to ensure they go into the final round of the first half of the season with a 2-point lead over chasing Buzz Pirates.
