Liverpool will be aiming to exact revenge on Aston Villa when the two clubs meet in a 2020-21
English Premier League match on Saturday.
The Reds beat Arsenal 3-0 at Emirates Stadium last weekend for back-to-back wins in the league. This has reignited Liverpool's hopes of finishing the season in the Uefa Champions League places.
"If we are to think about a higher spot then we have to do our jobs and win every single game," said forward Diogo Jota following his team's win in North London.
"If we do our job we have a chance (to finish in top four)."
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp added: "We don't look at Chelsea or West Ham United or whatever because we have to win our games. But tonight the package was extremely good and that's what you need."
Villa ended a four-game run without a win with a 3-1 comeback victory over Fulham to rekindle their own top four hopes.
Liverpool suffered a shock 7-2 loss at Villa Park earlier this season. Ollie Watkins netted a hat-trick while Jack Grealish bagged a brace for the hosts. Mohamed Salah scored both of Liverpool's goals.
