The Cityzens dropped further points as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Leeds United before the international break. The result followed a 5-2 loss at home to Leicester City in what has been an enthralling start to the 2020/21 season.
City boss Pep Guardiola isn't too worried about his team's slow start but will be expecting a better performance at home to an improving Arsenal team under Mikel Arteta.
“I know we have to win games to be at the top," said Guardiola following his team's draw at Elland Road. "But I am not thinking after three games about if we are going to win the league.

“It is what it is. I know where we are at. I am satisfied with what they have done so far.
“We need to settle a few things and we are still a little bit away from our best.
“I know how tough this league is and our opponents don't drop many points.
“I am so proud of these players and the team.”
Arsenal continue to evolve under Arteta who worked as Guardiola's assistant before taking up the job at Emirates Stadium. The Gunners made it three wins from their opening four games with a 2-1 win over Sheffield United last time out.

City beat Arsenal 3-0 in the corresponding fixture last season and are currently on a six-game winning run against their opponents in the Premier League, having scored three goals in five of those wins. Arsenal, though, did beat City in the most recent encounter between the two teams: a 2-0 win thanks to a brace from Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on their way to FA Cup glory.
