Unified WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO world champion Anthony Joshua will put his titles on the line when he faces Kubrat Pulev on December 12

The British superstar is a two-time unified heavyweight champion, having held the WBA (Super), IBF, WBO, and IBO titles since December 2019.

Joshua previously held the titles between 2016 and June 2019 before he was stunned by Andy Ruiz Junior, but he got his revenge against American boxer 12 months ago.

The 31-year-old is ranked as the world's second best active heavyweight by The Ring magazine and Transnational Boxing Rankings Board and third by BoxRec.

The man nicknamed AJ is also the sixth best active boxer, pound for pound, by BoxRec.

His victories include five world heavyweight champions namely; Charles Martin, Wladimir Klitschko, Joseph Parker, Alexander Povetkin and Ruiz Jr.

Plus three non-titleists who were nonetheless ranked in the global heavyweight top ten by BoxRec within a year of him beating them.

These are Dillian Whyte, Carlos Takam and Dominic Breazeale and Joshua also boasts of knockout-to-win percentage stands at 91%.

Joshua says he is determined to retain his four titles when he faces Pulev, who is the IBF mandatory challenger.

“It’s been hard work holding onto these four. That’s why I’ve got to take Pulev seriously," Joshua told DAZN.

“It’s weird how boxing works. I’ve got to fight for each of these belts one by one, then Pulev gets to fight me one night.

"He's the IBF mandatory challenger, but I’ve got to put up my IBO, WBO, WBA [belts]. I can’t just put up my IBF and put these aside for one night," he added.

"So I’ve gone and done all the hard work.”
