In order to safely and securely bet with Betway, we are required by South Africa law to verify your identity. Should your identity not be automatically verified on registration of your Betway account, you will be required to submit a copy of your identification document.

Here are the acceptable forms of ID documents:
  • Green ID book
  • Smart Card ID
  • Passport
  • Drivers License
Upon logging into your Betway account, you will be notified on our website that we require you to send us a copy of your ID document. On presentation of this message follow these steps:
  • Click on the “Upload Now” button
  • You will be presented with a Document Upload page
  • You will have one of two options, you can either Upload your ID copy via the website through your mobile device or desktop computer or you can send your documents to [email protected]
  • Allow us 24 to 48 hours to verify your ID document
  • You will receive an e-mail once your documents have been verified.

Depositing with Betway is simple and easy. You can fund your Betway account in a few ways:

Credit/ Debit Card

  3. Select "OTT VOUCHERS"
  4. Enter your voucher code
  5. Click "Redeem"
  6. Your Cash balance will be updated

Betway vouchers

South African sports betting fans can now purchase Betway vouchers from any PEP or Flash store nationwide and use it to make a deposit. Here is how to deposit using a Betway voucher:

  1. Purchase a Betway voucher (1Voucher) at any PEP or Flash store
  2. Visit the Banking page
  3. Enter your 1Voucher recharge pin
  4. Your account will be topped up immediately

Kazang

  1. Visit a Kazang vendor and purchase your Betway voucher
  2. Click or tap on Deposit
  3. Choose Kazang from the list of deposit methods
  4. Enter your voucher code
  5. Click on Redeem
  6. Your funds will be available immediately

  1. Navigate to Betway's home page for the latest upcoming fixtures
  2. You have the option to click on "Choose League" to filter specific league/s
  3. You can also click on "Select the type of bet" to choose a bet type
  4. You also have the option to search by team name
  5. Make your bet selections by clicking on them and they will be added to your Betslip
  6. Once you have completed all your selections, confirm your Betslip

When your team wins, so do you. When it’s time to cash in, doing so is easy.

  2. Select the "Withdraw Funds" option
  3. Complete the withdrawal form by providing us with your bank account details
  4. Enter the amount your wish to withdraw and click "Proceed"
  5. Send us your bank statement that reflects your bank account details by e-mailing it to [email protected]
  6. Once we have verified your bank statement with the details you provided we will process your withdrawal
  7. The funds will take between 1 to 2 business days to reflect in your bank account.

Absa CashSend

  1. From the homepage, click on My Account
  2. Select Withdraw Funds
  3. Choose Absa CashSend from the list of options
  4. Your mobile number will be entered automatically
  5. Enter an amount to withdraw
  6. Click on Withdraw Now
  7. Ensure all of your details are correct and select Confirm Withdrawal

Your withdrawal may take up to 72 hours to be processed. Once you receive your unique 10-digit pin from Absa, follow these steps to complete the process:

  1. Visit your nearest Absa ATM
  2. Enter your 10-digit pin followed by the access code 238929

Please note that you can only withdraw in increments of R50, and your withdrawal must be completed within 30 days or the funds will be returned to Betway.
